I am Massimiliano Turazzini, an entrepreneur in the digital world, but also, and perhaps above all, a technology and AI enthusiast.
In 2020 I published my novel about Artificial Intelligence, Glimpse.
In 2023 I felt the need to create this blog to tell the story of what was really happening in the field of AI.
And there is a lot to tell!
My story
My life has been an exciting journey through the world of technology, innovation and literature.
My career began in the early days of software programming, when the Internet was still a distant dream. During those years, I shared my knowledge and experience by writing for computer magazines (VB Journal), immersing myself in a rapidly changing world and experiencing the difficulty of explaining things that were not yet known to many.
My curiosity and desire to explore new horizons led me to management positions in the energy sector, where I participated in the creation of one of the first energy and gas distribution companies on the Italian market. However, the lure of technology was too strong and I decided to return to my digital roots and become an entrepreneur. I co-founded a software company, Trilance, dedicated to the world of energy and utilities, and together with my long-time partner and an exceptional team, I brought my vision and desire to innovate to life.
Over the years, I have focused on highly innovative start-ups with AI at their core, investing in and supporting projects that I believe can shape our future.
Today, I am working on a beautiful project, greenride.it, which I believe redefines the approach of companies to two-wheeled mobility, bringing together the Italian tradition of bicycles, IOT technology and artificial intelligence, which we apply in different contexts.
As an active member of YPO in Italy, of which I was Chair Officer for Italy, as a certified trainer in AI at the VJAL Institute, and as a digital entrepreneur in several initiatives, I have had the honour of contributing to several innovative projects, always very close to the frontier of what is possible with technology.
I am passionate about my involvement in artificial intelligence because I firmly believe that AI not only enhances our capabilities, but also redefines our future. This belief has led me to share my thoughts and ideas on AI, technology and generative AI on my blog and on LinkedIn.
My venture into the world of literature reflects my imagination and vision of a very near future where AI will have a significant impact on our lives, with my novel "Glimpse, memories of a future that never came true" set in 2020.
My passion for knowledge has never waned; I continue to read, study and, above all, ask questions about where technology will take us tomorrow.
